As a 13.5 boosted motor driver. I cannot understand, why people would run a boosted 10.5 as a un-boosted 10.5 is a hand full at Doncaster. Boosted 10.5 in door track = broken car unless you are a A final driver. My advise for what It's worth buy gear to match your ability Hope this do's not come across in the wrong way just a bit of friendly advice .

I agree, I have a 10.5 boosted in at moment purely because my 13.5 broke and I am waiting for a replacement, it is utterly bonkers!!!
Makes the car handle a lot different to how it would if you had 13.5

If everyone used a 17.5 or even a 21.5t it would be better and a lot closer racing

I've just gone to a brushless 10.5T from brushed 19T and the characteristics are very different. I don't think it is over powered but I have little or no boost and running NIMH packs. The hardest thing to get used to is having no engine braking off throttle.
