Well Graham D have you converted your KO to 2.4. When/ if you do let me know . The only down side I can see is the size of the receiver. but for the money you can't go wrong.

I did have a look but no, not at the moment, like you say the size of the receiver is really off putting, its just huge and I really like the small receivers so I think I will be sticking with 40Mghz for now. Great value though like you say. I shouldn't have too many problems unless they start to use other stuff on the 40Mhz frequency band as it gets phased out. I think when the time comes I will have to look at a new tranmitter even though there doesnt seem to be much choice out there for sticks with Ko releasing a stick/trigger combo as a option for there latest steerwheel transmitter.

Well spotted Dan. That looks a looks a lot easer than I thought it would be only three bits of soldering a piece of pee.

I have just been to my son's house, he ordered the frsky gear for the ko conversion using the same gear as the man on oople. The receiver is actually very very small .in the picture on oople It looks massive but must be in a 1/18 buggy. It's a little longer than my ko 407 but 1/3 the hight the receiver wire is only 25mm long. Will up date later when he gets it up and running.

Cool Paul, you'll have to get some pics posted once its all done, it did look massive so if its a decent size thats a big plus and at that price you cant go wrong.

Its up and running. Sorry Gray haven't a clue how to post pic, but I will bring it to the club Friday so you can have a good look. Tried it for range run out of street at 300mtrs and no sign of any glitching. May be a different story in racing condition's, But only time will tell watch this space.
